Permanent, Part-time 40 hours per fortnight (0.5FTE) We have a fabulous opportunity for a compassionate person to join us as an Administration Coordinator, based in our Health of Older People department. Your main responsibility is to provide accurate and efficient administration duties while providing professional support to both external and internal customers.
This role offers a mix of internal process administration along with patient interaction organising home visits for our Geriatricians. You will work as part of the Medical Secretary team to provide admin coordination across Older Persons Health. This is a real opportunity to make a positive impact on the health of older people in Hawke's Bay.
You will need to be self-motivated and results-driven as well as enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will have a passion for making a difference, achieving results, and be hungry for a challenge. Naturally, you will be able to recognise the needs, aims and aspirations of whanau from all culturally diverse groups within our community.
We are ideally looking for someone with several years' experience in a busy administrative role, preferably in healthcare but this is not essential. It is essential that you're able to deal sensitively and confidentially with all information and have a strong attention to detail. Please note the successful applicant will need to be available to work some hours on Tuesdays and Fridays each week however other working days will be agreed with the successful candidate.
