Fixed term (12 months) Full time (Monday to Friday) Based at Auckland City Hospital Bring your administration skills to a vital and rewarding position Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity We are looking for a savvy administrator for our Radiology department to provide scheduling and admin support for our busy Radiology team. This is fixed term position, providing cover for a staff member who will be on parental leave for 12 months. This will be a MondayFriday role.

The successful applicant will require excellent learning, technical and organisational skills. The successful applicant will need to be able to pick up systems and processes quickly and be able to work collaboratively with the admin and clinical teams. Te Toka Tumai Auckland is the largest teaching hospital in New Zealand offering a wide range of tertiary and quaternary clinical services to a large and diverse population.

For further details, please refer to the position description here Nga Pkenga Motuhake | Important Skills As the ideal candidate for this role you will have: Experience in an administrative role in healthcare (ideally but not essential). Experience in the use of hospital software systems would be an advantage.

Ability to adapt at short notice when required to cover colleagues for short notice and/or planned leave. Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to provide our patients with the best quality experience of our services Able to empathise and work compassionately with people from various cultures Attention to detail, common-sense and ability to problem solve effectively. Strong communication and critical thinking skills with the ability to challenge and question the status quo and contribute to process improvement.

IT literate with advanced competence in MS Office. Positive attitude with strong organisational skills Ability to prioritise work and take proactive approach to manage your time and workload and the capability to work independently as well as within a team.
