M tnei tranga mahi | About this role M te tnga | About the role In this role, your primary responsibility will be the preparation, delivery, and management of technical training courses in Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (ALSE). This will consist of a mixture of theory and practical course work/assessment. A typical day in this role might include: Maintenance of training packages, documentation, resources and make recommendations to amend the Manual of Training.
Coaching and Developing trainees in order to achieve the high standards. Maintaining and repairing ALSE to RNZAF technical standards in order to enable instructional tasks to be completed. Providing specialist technical expertise relating to all items of ALSE.
Please Note: The formal title for this role within NZDF is S&S ALSE Instructor and Supervisor. Ng pkenga me ng wheako | Skills and Experience Due to the highly specific nature of this role, candidates will need considerable knowledge of Aeronautical Life Support Equipment as well as proven experience in instructing/training. Additionally, you will also possess the following: Excellent verbal and written communication.
A genuine desire to improve/develop the delivery of training material for current and future students. Proficiency with the MS Office suite, especially with Excel. Please note: This role will require domestic travel to NZDF camps and bases, therefore a full and clean Driver's License is essential.
