M tnei tranga - About the role As an Application Support Analyst, you will provide comprehensive level 1, 2, and 3 support to our internal business users.

Your primary focus will be on technical support for applications, including incident and request ticket management, knowledge base improvement, and ensuring outstanding customer service. You will excel in efficiently prioritising incidents and requests, swiftly resolving issues when feasible, and escalating them appropriately when necessary. You will proactively identify and tackle common support challenges, working closely with outsourced teams for their expertise.

Building a comprehensive understanding of our IT landscape, you will provide exceptional support tailored to Whakarongorau Aotearoa and their needs. As the successful candidate, you will forge strong relationships with our business stakeholders, showcasing a commitment to cultural sensitivity and the guiding principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Qualifications Mu ake - About you u wheako u mtauranga hoki - Qualifications and experience A bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or similar is desirable Some experience as an application support engineer in a related field u heitanga u pkenga hoki - Skills and competence Knowledge of front-end and back-end programming languages desirable, such as C#, Javascript, SQL, HTML Knowledge of databases, especially SQL Server is desirable Ability to manage code migration, document configuration changes, and monitor performance Exceptional ability to provide front-end support to internal departments and web-based clients Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them Ability to keep up with innovation in application design Exceptional communication skills A commitment to the diverse cultures of our services users and the needs of priority populations in Aotearoa A strong awareness, u.
