This is an exciting opportunity to support our nursing workforce, quality improvement and service development initiatives. M t mtou rp - About our team Mental Health Service Older Persons (MHSOP) provides specialist assessment, treatment and recovery focused interventions.

We are primarily a community based service incorporating a 16 bed inpatient facility. Our inpatient unit provides specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services for individuals with a wide range of mental health challenges. MHSOP primarily serves individuals presenting with recent onset functional mental health conditions over the age of 65 and/or dementia associated with significant behavioural and psychological symptoms (BPSD.

Mo - About you You will have excellent clinical credibility as well as an ability to ensure operational objectives are realized and consistent with the vision and values of the organization. With your proven ability to lead, you will be an expert at developing and extending nursing practice, assisting the clinical leadership team with performance appraisals, auditing, and quality improvement. As such, you will strive to ensure the overall provision of quality nursing care for tangata whaiora.
