New World Otaki is a community supermarket located in a great part of New Zealand, Sunny Otaki on the Kapiti coast. We are looking for an experienced Baker to join our Bakery team here at New World Otaki. The role can be either Full or Part Time and hours and days will be discussed during the interview process.
This is a great opportunity for someone to join a small team focused on providing an outstanding bakery offer and looking to take our bakery to the next level. The primary role of the baker is to assist in the production of the department, ensuring that we have a good range and high quality of fresh baked products available for our community. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following Previous bakery experience within a retail environment.
Be able to work both in a small team and independently. Knowledge of Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety. A strong customer focus.
A great attitude combined with strong relationship building and problem solving skills. You must be living and entitled to work in New Zealand to apply for this position.
