Job Description This is a newly created role that will report to the Food & Beverage Manager. We are looking for someone to come in to this role and make it their own using their sound hotel experience, drive, and creative ideas to take our banquet experience to the next level for our guests. The successful candidate will take full control and accountability of banquet operations being the face of each event, the point of contact for weddings, corporate clients & VIP functions.
You will: Manage the day-to-day operation of all conference and event operations including room set up, service, technical equipment, staff and function room maintenance so that client needs are being met according to the specification of the function event order Ensure service standards are being maintained across all conference spaces Deliver service that achieves a reputation as a market leader in the hotel locality Drive meetings and handovers with staff and clients to deliver a smooth experience Work closely with hotel Sales & Conference team assist other F&B outlets where required.
