Right now, we have an opportunity in our Orthopaedic Outpatients department for a part time booking clerk/ Receptionist to join our team at the Whangarei Hospital in a permanent position. The purpose of this position is to provide effective and efficient management of the Booking System / Booking List and to offer a customer focused service to the patients and their families. This role will also provide administrative support to the Services and some reception duties.

Key requirements Advanced computer skills Prior experience in a fast-paced working environment Exceptional verbal & written communication skills Awareness and understanding of patient confidentiality High attention to detail A good understanding of medical terminology & prior health care experience is desirable.
