nz The Role Based in Wallacetown, Invercargill, the Business Administration Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Hubs business support and finance function. Supporting our people (from directors to researchers and our farm team) will be a core focus of the role and youll need to be adept at managing relationships and servicing the diverse needs of external and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: all accounts payable and receivable duties along with most data input activities; payroll management and transactions; preparing IRD returns and fuel excise duty refund applications; coding, reconciliation and reporting of transactions; ensuring our people management and health and safety are industry leading and supporting the team to deliver our commitment to best practice; business information management and reporting, with a focus on continuously improving business support operations through robust processes; office management, ensuring the smooth, efficient delivery of support services; Board services and acting as an executive assistant to the General Manager.
What were looking for You will: have successfully delivered best practice management of people, accounts and payroll in a similar role; be organised and driven with the ability to self-manage and prioritise to meet deadlines; have strong attention to detail and a commitment to high work standards; use your excellent communication and relationship building skills to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction; be focused on continuous improvement of business information management through robust processes; have a strong affinity for the primary sector.
