Hill Labs is a leading provider of analytical testing services in New Zealand and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth within our Food Microbiology market segment. The Role The role is responsible for driving business growth by implementing the commercial strategy within the national Food Microbiology market sector. Reporting to the South Island/Food Micro Business Manager, this role will actively seek out new opportunities and understand customer requirements by using cross-functional strategies, and use sales, marketing and customer service initiatives to meet the business's growth objectives.

Some national travel will be required in this role. Key focus of role Develop and implement plans that leverage existing partnerships, identify and pursue new business opportunities, and pinpoint and engage decision-makers within target markets. Achieve set revenue targets by implementing sales and marketing strategies while advocating a customer centric approach.

Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to align services and processes with customer requirements and business priorities. Research and contribute to innovation in services and processes, aligning them with evolving customer needs and shifting market trends.
