He angittanga | About the role The Director, Organisational Change Office is a newly created role and function that will lead and manage strategic change initiatives across DOC to drive positive and sustainable change. Reporting to the Deputy Director-General Organisation Support, you'll initially be focussed on supporting our Simplification Programme to improve our systems and processes, as well building change capability to support our organisation into the future. The position will see you: establish and lead the Organisational Change Office to ensure DOC operates as an honourable Treaty Partner lead and oversee the development and execution of change management plans for major organisational initiatives build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives lead and support the Organisational Change Office team to enable a high performing and capable function assess the impact of change and develop strategies to mitigate resistance, foster a positive culture, and drive adoption of new processes and technologies support DOC to operate as an honourable Treaty Partner ensure leader-led behaviour through the use and promotion of te reo and tikanga.
Ng pkenga me ng wheako | Skills and experience If you have the following attributes, we are keen to hear from you: significant experience in a senior leadership role leading and implementing successful organisational change initiatives demonstrated experience working in a fast changing agile environment experience building capability and teams excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels a strong understanding of change management methodologies and best practices strategic mindset and the ability to align change efforts with broader organisational objectives sound understanding of the impact DOC and the wider public sector/government has on the Mori-Crown relationship, and the obligations of the Crown under the Treaty of Waitangi.
