M te Tranga | About the role The Engineering Practice, home for this role, delivers excellence in people leadership and capability building to support wider ASB to execute projects effectively. The Customer Intelligence Platform, this roles core stream of work, works across ASB Bank to drive automation for a variety of initiatives through specialist software like Pega, Blue Prism, SmartForms and ABBYY. The platform is a mix of collaborative experts who simply love enabling customer intelligent solutions, making life easy for ASBers and our Customers.

This role requires a passionate leader to provide both technical and people leadership for your team within our Development Chapter for both Software Robotics and Pega focuses, along with other capabilities and skills for engineers needs. You'll be tasked with maintaining and growing the high performing culture and customer obsession within the team. Driving best practice, high quality standards and controls compliance through customer intelligent solutions and how ASB can maximise value for a future technology state through their engineering chapter.

pkenga | About you You'll be highly motivated leader to pursue excellence, maximising value for ASB through continuous improvement, innovation, ways of working and opportunities for experimentation that will benefit the teams and/or ASB. Gain and maintaining an understanding of current and future technology and technical integration, with extensive knowledge in the platform's specialist software. Your positivity, leadership, and excellent communication skills enable you to share your knowledge to build and maintain strong relationships with other platforms and tribes enabling effective people performance feedback loops and monitoring, with experience and proven track record of providing and coaching growth at scale.
