Charge Nurse Manager - Manukau Health Park (1.0 FTE) We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered or senior nurse to join our senior nursing team at Manukau Health Park. Manukau Health Park is Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukaus elective surgery site, providing surgical care across many specialties including ophthalmology, urology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, plastic and general surgery.
The ward provides post-operative care for up to 30 patients at a time. We are looking for a senior registered nurse with surgical experience as well as proven leadership skills to lead our nursing team on our elective surgical ward. This role requires a nurse who enjoys the challenges that leading a team brings, an ability to demonstrate and role model excellence in clinical practice, management, team collaboration and high quality nursing care with a commitment to patient focused outcomes.
The role reports directly to the Service Manager Orthopaedics within the Surgery, Anaesthesia and Perioperative Services and is supported by the Clinical Nurse Director.
