Checkout Supervisor - New World Otaki New World Otaki is a community supermarket located in sunny Otaki on the Kapiti Coast. We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team either full or part time in the key role of Checkout Supervisor. We are looking for a customer service superstar who is ready to hit the ground running.
Being part of a small but effective team, you will assist with managing customer flows, make key decisions and provide an outstanding customer experience for our customers and community. As you will be in a key role and part of a small team flexibility is required. We will provide the training you need to succeed in this role within an environment that encourages growth and development.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL IDEALLY HAVE: A great attitude, strong work ethic and enjoy working as part of a team A willingness to learn on the job and constantly upskill learn while you earn Excellent communication and English skills Strong planning, organisational and time management skills Some experience leading a team Flexibility with hours, including being able to work nights and at least one weekend day A basic understanding of food safety and health and safety Hold an LCQ and Duty Managers license and or be willing to obtain one.
