Ko tu ake mahi | What you will be doing The Clinical Quality and Education team is a group of fifteen experienced personnel including general practitioners, pharmacists, registered nurses, an administrative coordinator and assistant, a physiotherapist, and a qualitative analyst. We support primary healthcare teams by providing independent, robust, evidence-informed education that encourages comparison of practice, discussion about variation, and teamwork. We are committed to identifying, addressing and understanding health inequity in all our work.
The Clinical Facilitators develop content for the Small Group education programme, produce bulletins and submissions in response to clinical and public health issues affecting primary care, liaise with subject matter experts and analysts, and participate in review of medicine and laboratory utilisation data. This position is for 16 hours per week. Ko ng pkenga u | What you will bring Registered Community or Practice Nurse (current APC).
Good understanding, and recently experience working in primary care (preferably you will continue to work in a clinical role). Sound literature searching and critical appraisal skills Experience interpreting and conveying quantitative information Excellent standard of written work and attention to detail.
