We are seeking a: Clinical Nurse Specialist Wound Care We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse with a genuine interest in wound care to join our innovative and passionate Specialist Community Health Service team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Wound Care. This is a part-time position working four days a fortnight and you could combine it with your current role. You will be friendly, have excellent communication skills and a passion for working in partnership with patients, their whaanau and the wider team, both within the hospital and community setting.
In this senior nursing position, you will be part of a specialist community team that provides high quality, compassionate, clinical expertise, education and leadership for the nursing team as well as the wider health care team. Our current Wound Care CNS in the Specialist Community Health Service provide an excellent environment to grow, and can support developing your clinical skills, provide mentoring and will support professional development. You will have: New Zealand Registered Nurse with current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate Minimum post graduate diploma studies Functioning at RN Proficient or Expert level of PDRP 5 years post registration nursing experience Knowledge and experience in wound care management, education, and care coordination Full clean drivers license.
