This is mahi that will improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in Aotearoa, and weve got an opportunity for you to be part of it Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity Providing support to Clinical Product Co-ordination service you will act as the interface between Te Whatu Ora and suppliers, communicating with internal and external stakeholders as necessary for new product introductions, implementation of substitutions, product changes and the evaluation and introduction of medical devices for use within our hospitals based across the motu. These roles are dedicated to the hospitals in the Canterbury / West Coast, Auckland, Waikato, Hawkes Bay, Christchurch, Hutt Valley, Bay Of Plenty, Taranaki regions.
Your responsibilities will include: Ensure the evaluation & implementation of new products through to business-as-usual is co-ordinated. Assessment and review of clinical research/literature regarding best practice and new product suitability Sourcing of Safe and cost-effective products to enhance and support current clinical performance Ensuring products introduced to the hospitals are compliant with regulatory requirements Communication of product changes and associated supply chain to all stakeholders Mu | About you We are looking for a self-motivated person with a clinical background, who seeks to gain or enhance business skills and experience. You will also possess the following: 3 years demonstrable experience in a relevant, recognised health care area- may include medical-technical disciplines such as hospital laboratory staff.
