Nau mai, haere mai ki Starship Child Health Here is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Psychologist, who is passionate about working with children and their families and is looking for a challenging and rewarding role within the friendly and professional Starship Childrens Health team within General Paediatrics. Part time 0.6 FTE Fixed term 12 months due to parental leave cover Location: Starship Hospital, Grafton Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced, motivated and dynamic Clinical Psychologist who will work with a child development focus as part of the Starship General Paediatrics, with the benefit of being professionally linked to the Starship Consult Liaison and Paediatrician teams.

This dynamic position provides high quality clinical psychology assessment and intervention to children and young people with developmental and disability needs and their family/whnau. Based at Starship Hospital, Grafton, General Paediatrics provides services for children and young people with a wide range of conditions. The nature of these includes e.

g. ADHD, anxiety in association with pain, and concerns about intellectual disability, therefore benefit from psychological assessment and input in addition to medical care. You will be working alongside experienced psychology colleagues and have a connection with the MDT.

The team is friendly, hard-working and motivated to provide high quality assessments and interventions for children; young people and their whnau attending Starship Child Health. Nga Pkenga Motuhake | Important Skills To apply for this role, you must be a New Zealand Registered Clinical Psychologist with a current Annual Practising Certificate and a clean full drivers licence. Experience working with children with disabilities is desired.
