About the Auckland System Management (ASM) Alliance The ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network. The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland transport system. Estimated project dates are from July 2019 to June 2028.
The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity to support the detailed planning and successful delivery of the ASM's cyclic maintenance closure program. As Closure Engineer, you will assist in planning work programs to minimise impact on customer journeys through cyclic maintenance closures or alternative arrangements. You will work closely with our delivery teams to understand and confirm each team's scope, meaningful target quantity and timing of work to maximise deliverability and assess the risks involved.
Our ideal candidate will have the following: Tertiary qualification in engineering, project management or equivalent Experienced in working with multiple parties and scope of work preparation A full Class 1 Drivers License preferred Proven organisational and planning skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Above all you must be a team player, who is willing to help wherever needed and go above and beyond to support your team.
