We are seeking to employ two CNC operators in our joinery operations in Christchurch. Job duties may include: Loading and unloading materials onto the CNC and then sorting them and stacking them onto trollies, Need to be able to handle some heavy lifting and be a clean and tidy person who takes care of the area they work in and be someone who is Health & Safety conscious Learn and understand the operation of CNC plate processing machinery. Load and unload materials into the machines, ensuring proper positioning.

Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Collaborate with experienced operators and supervisors to develop your skills. Cutting and shaping wood by using CNC machinery. Able to follow technical instructions closely.

Review and study blueprints Use of handheld power tools and machinery maintaining tools, blades, and bits. Able to follow health and safety rules and work quickly and accurately. Desirable attributes: Must have one year experience as a CNC Operator in the joinery industry Can work independently and produce quality work with minimum supervision.

Be dynamic towards process and technology. Is effective at problem-solving abilities. Able to work Saturdays Knowledge to use Mosaic would be an advantage Be fit, active, motivated with excellent attention to detail.

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and criminal history checks. Strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to work in a manufacturing environment. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Basic math skills and the ability to read technical drawings. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced operators. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
