Community Support Worker Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week) General working hours 8:00/8:30am-4:30/5:00pm, Monday to Friday (possibility for later hours and weekend work) Service is based from Apollo Dr, Rosedale. Pay Equity: $24.00 - $29.

The Service: Our Community Support Service consists of 3 mobile teams supporting people in their recovery from mental health issues by offering a wide range of practical and empowering services. In Waitemata, we also provide Packages of Care to those who require higher levels of flexible and responsive support.
These care packages are designed to navigate and coordinate a way through complex and challenging situations. Additionally, we also have a multi-lingual, culturally sensitive Asian Support team, who work with those whose English language skills are limited to help them feel part of the community and explain what services and agencies are available. In Central Auckland, we also provide services to meet the needs of families/whnau where a parent experiences mental health or addictions issues.
Working with children and adolescents, this often necessitates a different approach. Role: Community Support Workers, we believe, are the key ingredient for successful client outcomes. Consequently, we provide ample and on-going tools and encouragement to develop, grow and flourish in the role, striving to ensure an environment of learning, teamwork, and enjoyment.
You will apply your skills and experience to work closely with those who are referred to us either through primary or secondary services.
