We are looking for an energetic, well organised team player to join our team as our Compliance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering our Food Safety and Health & Safety programs and ensuring we meet our other regulatory obligations.
You will work alongside department managers and other team members. There is training available as required to ensure you have the knowledge and skills to deliver in this role. You will receive strong support from the Owner and our network within the Foodstuffs family.
In this role you will be responsible for: Ensuring all Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures and systems are maintained at a level to comply with all audits. Taking the lead on internal and external audits. Actively promoting health and safety and food safety to all our team.
Ensuring our store meets and continuously improves all Health & Safety requirements. Ensuring our store complies with Food Safety practices set in our Food Control Plan Managing the quarterly committee meeting process for Health & Safety. Implementing and organising inhouse Health & Safety and Food Safety training for all employees as required The ideal candidate will have the following qualities: The ability to influence and drive a compliance culture within our store.
A Team player with the desire and skills to lead and motivate. A people person with excellent communication skills. Systematic and detail oriented.
Excellent organisational and time management skills. A keen learner who is adaptable. The ability to handle customer enquiries and complaints appropriately and a timely manner.
