ETEL Limited is a leading New Zealand transformers manufacturer with a strong reputation built on delivering excellence in quality and service in their products. We are on an exciting journey to becoming a world class manufacturer and are in the midst of implementing changes to make this vision a reality. We are currently looking for a proactive Components Production Coordinator who will be responsible in engaging with our Engineering & Production teams to ensure production efficiencies are run smoothly and timeline targets are achieved.

The Components Production Coordinator bridges the gap between the Engineering Department and Production department, using the approved 2D/3D AutoCAD & SolidWorks systems provided by engineering. The role involves creating NC codes from 2D or 3D drawings, so they are compatible with the approved Primecut3 machine software. The Components Production Coordinator is also responsible for processing the schedule and to ensure there is a smooth workflow for production by coordinating within departments.

This is a fast-paced and varied role reporting to the Production Improvement Lead. This is a day shift position, starting at 6:30am till 3pm. The ideal candidate will have: - Work experience in Manufacturing or Transformer Industry while not essential would be beneficial.

- Experience working with Nesting Software (Prime Cut) and 2D/ 3D AutoCAD & SolidWorks - Good understanding of the fabrication process. - An engineering qualification, specifically Mechanical, while not essential would be preferred. - An elevated level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Data analysis - Organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload. - Ability to work well within a team as well as independently. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal - Enthusiastic, driven and a passion for continuous improvement.
