Permanent, Part-time 56 hours per fortnight (0.7 FTE) A key part of ensuring our patients are well taken care of and on the road to recovery comes from the food and nutrition they receive on site. We have a vacancy in the Wairoa Integrated Family Health Centre team for an experienced Cook.
If successful youll provide a friendly, attentive and efficient service to our patients through cooking a variety of nutritious meals, preparation of ingredients and general food service. Were looking for someone with the following; Cooking experience within a commercial kitchen environment NZQA Food Safety Certification (Unit 167 & Contamination and control unit standard 168 minimum requirement) Experience with special diets and diet requirements including allergies/intolerances, supplements and texture modified soft & purees Monitoring and promoting kitchen hygiene All aspects of kitchen operations including washing dishes and cleaning kitchen Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Mui, Hawkes Bay in general encourages a workforce that is innovative, eager to learn and enhance their skills and is passionate about caring for our community.
