Our Opportunity: The Mercury Dispatch Team is dedicated to ensuring that electricity & gas faults affecting our customers are resolved quickly and efficiently, so that the lights stay on, and our customers experience during these times is positive and well managed. This team is also responsible for the delivery of our LPG service, handling our retail fieldwork, and providing subject matter expertise support to our wider business units.
Liaise with third party stakeholders including network companies, retail contractors, meter owneers and or LPG service provider Provide fault and technical information/outcomes to our customers and service centres Provide helpdesk support for our service centres and colleagues from other departments Collaborate on a range of tasks and urgent issues to get positive solutions for our customers and all parties involved Hours of work will be rostered between the hours of 6:30am to 10.00pm Monday to Sunday. NB: much of the hours worked are during normal weekday business hours, time worked outside of our normal business hours is remunerated accordingly, in addition to the base salary.

Possess detail and data accuracy - vital due to the nature of the work dealing with critical services / emergency situations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Bring initiative and an ability to make appropriate decisions - this is, at times a sole charge position working outside of normal business hours (evenings and weekends). Have effective communication skills - both verbal and written. Be resilient and curious - at times the work can be complex with time frames and outcomes outside of our control.
