This is mahi that will improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity Join our dynamic and collaborative team at the New Zealand Cancer Registry (NZCR) as a motivated and proactive Data Administrator. Our team, a close-knit group of nine members, is dedicated to maintaining a high-quality register of all primary cancers diagnosed in New Zealand, excluding certain skin cancers.

In this exciting role, you will be a key player in managing incoming information about cancer diagnoses efficiently to best support the team. Your responsibilities will include administering and maintaining records and ensuring the data's quality aligns with best practices. This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity.

Ng pkenga me ng wheako | Skills and experience Employs methodical work practices in the handling of records and data, and pays high attention to detail to ensure data integrity is upheld. Excellent computer literacy including a good knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams OneDrive etc), and MS Access, and the ability to quickly and effectively learn in-house processing systems. Experience in using and updating databases.

Excellent prioritisation and problem-solving skills, and an ability to work under pressure in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.
