The Opportunity We are searching for a Data Privacy Lead (Pacific) to join a highly skilled Asia Pacific Risk Office Team. The scope of the work will require the successful candidate to collaborate with various levels of management and staff, Aon Law & Compliance and Aon's Global Privacy Office (GPO). Key Responsibilities include: - Understanding and detailing how Aon's Pacific businesses handle personal data - Building and maintaining a culture of data management and privacy best practice - Ability to lead all aspects of and project lead the privacy assurance programs and controls set for Aon's operations in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Fiji - Developed project management skills - Appointing and training Privacy Champions - Crafting and implementing Annual Privacy Plans - Leading all aspects of Data Privacy Impact Assessments - Developing and maintaining processes to respond to data breaches and data protection requests - Supporting the Asia Pacific Chief Risk Officer and GPO with board reporting and privacy training About you Ideally, you will come from a privacy, data risk, compliance, or law background.
You must have strong project management skills with the ability to lead and collaborate with colleagues. You will also have: - High work standards with strong client service orientation - Previous experience as a data privacy lead, privacy or compliance officer - Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills - Good understanding of Privacy Legislation in your region - Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines If you consider yourself highly determined with a passion for providing best client experience, then this is the role for you You will be rewarded with ongoing development, challenges, and support to have a successful career within Aon.
