About the role: We are on the hunt for an experienced Developer / Analyst who can hit the ground running. Someone with a knack for understanding operational and financial business processes. You will have the ability to understand the real physical activities of a logistics business and be able to represent these in data with logical data transformation and present and use this information to enable business units to make beneficial changes to their operations.

This position is open to Auckland and Christchurch residents. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm The responsibilities include: Ground-up cost-to-serve modelling for the transport and/or warehouse functions Maintaining and running current and future modelling tools Promoting and embedding the use of modelling tools within Cardinal and its key customers Qlik Sense reporting and dashboard creation for both internal and external customers Involvement in the evolution of a Cardinal Data Warehouse Financial and Operational analytics, identifying and recommending areas of improvement Ad-hoc analysis and automation of manual data manipulation processes The successful candidate will be: Proficient in Qlik Sense, SQL or similar platforms Competence in MS Office applications, primarily Excel and PowerPoint Experience in continuous improvement projects Sound financial and operational analysis skills Logistics or supply chain exposure is highly desirable Experience in project-based work experience Highly detail-oriented and have excellent accuracy Effective communicator What we can offer you: A competitive salary Membership to the Cardinal Perks Program (discounts with some of NZ's major retailers) Life insurance Team events Ongoing mentoring and training If the above sounds like you, do not hesitate and apply now We look forward to discussing this opportunity with you.
