M te tnga | About the role As a DevOps engineer in the Identity and Access Management/Public Key Infrastructure (IDAM/PKI) team, you'll be part of a team that provides capabilities to enable the NZDF to access their systems and information in a secure, safe and timely manner. This involves looking after the day-to-day operational capabilities within the team and investing in embedding several fundamental new technologies to create a scalable, manageable, more secure service offering for the NZDF. This role can include the implementation of new products and product enhancements as part of a DevOps team, which means you will work from time to time with other DevOps teams to ensure that mutually beneficial goals are achieved across products, and across Defence Digital.
Pmanawa | What we're looking for A day in the life of an IDAM/PKI engineer sees you engaged in Agile ceremonies and check-ins, support existing systems and ensure they are fit for purpose through task fulfilment and incident management. You will be exposed to Identity and Credential management systems and processes, server management, server builds and upgrades, certificate infrastructure and lifecycle management, DevOps tools in Azure, and much more. We are looking for someone with working experience within the agile ways of working, someone who is proactive, self driven, collaborative, seeks help and brings others on their learning journey, someone who is invested in making business and technical processes more efficient be it through streamlining or automation.
Knowledge in SAP Identity Manager is preferred, but not essential. Ng pkenga me ng wheako | Skills and Experience Ideally you will have knowledge of, exposure to or a desire to learn the following: Identity and access management technologies and platforms. SAP IDM; (SAP Identity Management).
Azure environment. Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (AAD). Privileged Identity Management; (Group Policy).
Certificate Authorities and Certificate lifecycle management. Powershell and Java scripting. Server Monitoring and Management Tools.
Agile Fundamentals. An IT related degree or certification. Worked in an IT environment.
Experience with IT Security or SAP IDM is advantageous, as is Azure Fundamental/Azure104 and other relevant Microsoft certifications.
