IST is organising its technology delivery organisation, to better align itself in enabling business capabilities using platforms, capabilities & practices approach. The intention is to foster closer collaboration with our business stakeholders for business and strategy alignment to enable architecturally coherent technology solutions and invest our efforts on strategic platforms, eliminate technology sprawl, silos and reduces legacy technical debt.

This role is responsible for leading IST teams to engage with MSDs service portfolios and senior business stakeholders to develop, shape, plan and prioritise business initiatives that require enablement or uplift of business and technology capabilities.
Being present, accessible, an enabler of collaboration, providing sound advice, and removing roadblocks to progress are important qualities we are looking for. The role is about engaging at the front end of the business with senior stakeholders and supporting requirements for transformation and change enablement work. Taking ownership of technology related outcomes is imperative, where problem solving and enabling quality engineered solutions responsive to business needs, alignment to technology strategy and architectural disciplines are front of mind.
This senior leadership role is required to understand and navigate potentially difficult and complex technology challenges and moving parts, so a demonstrable understanding or hands on experience of software and applications delivery practices.
