About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Duty Manager to join our busy and fast paced Hamilton Pools team. This is a part time role working Sunday and Monday with shifts that alternate from one week of mornings 5am-1:30pm and then one week of nights 1pm-9:30pm so you can achieve work life balance.

The Duty Manager position is responsible for the delivery of all operational activities and routines, ensuring the safe supervision of customers, the facility, water quality and customer service are all kept to a high standard. This role also requires a strong health and safety focus with the ability to take a proactive approach to identify, communicate and eliminate hazards and risks to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff and facility. Day to day you will be leading and managing a team of pool lifeguards, ensuring they are enabled to deliver outstanding services to our customers and our community.

66 per hour and could be negotiated for the right candidate. About You NO technical experience is needed To be successful you will be process orientated and able to follow daily routines and instructions. You will be able to deal calmly with any conflict situation, and have flexibility to adapt as situations arise - sometimes we have lots of balls in the air to juggle In addition, being friendly and approachable, having excellent communication skills, bringing a strong health and safety focus, and being accountable are the other key personal attributes we are looking for.
