BestStart Waiata Shores, located in Conifer Grove, Takanini, is on the lookout for a creative Cook to join our team on a part-time basis As our Centre Cook you will plan, prepare and cook an appetising and culturally varied menu for the children, including morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.

Youll need to be efficient with your time and have an excellent knowledge of foods that promote good nutrition and healthy eating for our children. If you're someone who finds joy in cooking and baking delightful meals and treats for our tamariki, we want to hear from you As a cook at BestStart Waiata Shores, you'll play a crucial role in creating magical culinary experiences while promoting healthy eating habits among our children. Your responsibilities will include keeping the kitchen clean and organized, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and applying knowledge of Healthy Heart Foundation guidelines.

We're looking for someone with an enthusiastic approach, a keen eye for cleanliness, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will contribute to our close-knit and dedicated team environment.
