Be part of running a diverse range of events across the city Auckland wide locations Permanent role He angittanga: The opportunity As an Event Operator, youll be responsible for supporting a variety of events within the community. The purpose of this role is to provide logistical and operational support as crew members in the delivery of civic, local and regional events. We run a diverse range of events across the city including Movies in Parks, Music in Parks, Auckland International Cultural Festival and more.
These are focused on the community and giving Aucklanders' an enjoyable experience. We need an efficient operator to transport our equipment and manage the logistics of getting the events sites up and running in the right place, on time. This is a full-time role, and due to the variable scheduling of the live events weekend work will be required, particularly during the summer months.
In this role you will either be preparing for live events, loading and unloading our vehicles or setting up at the event. Youll also record stock movements, take down events afterwards and at times be working in the warehouse. He krero mu: About you As a successful candidate youll be physically fit and have a sense of humour while holding strong value on being reliable.
You should have the ability to work unsupervised while managing your varied workload, and good communication skills to work alongside community groups, event organisers and local boards. Event operations and event site experience is preferred, but not essential.
