Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity The core purpose of the Hospital and Specialist Services directorate is to deliver high quality hospital and specialist services to the people of Aotearoa, when they need it. The Hospital and Specialist Services National Functions exist to support regional and local teams and they will work closely with the teams that support and deliver care. The primary purpose of these roles is to provide comprehensive, high quality and timely support and assistance to members of the National Executive Leadership Team within Hospital and Specialist Services.
In this role, you will work to ensure that the Executive Leads work programme is proactively managed to ensure smooth and effective delivery. This includes dealing with matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for managing the Executive Leads schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements, ensuring efficient time management and seamless logistics.
You will also act as a liaison between the Executive Leads and other senior leaders, business units and external stakeholders. Although you will report to the Head of the Office & Business Support Director , you will support multiple leaders across the Hospital and Specialist Services nationaldirectorate. There are 4 full-time roles available, with successful candidates to be based in a main centre (Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch).
Mu | About you You will be an experienced Executive Assistant whose previous roles have involved supporting multiple leaders within a complex organization possibly within a government organisation. In previous roles you've been known for your efficiency and ability to keep up with a fast pace of incoming work. You've got a continuous improvement mind-set and natural agility.
You will be culturally competent, with a continuous improvement mind-set and natural agility. Most importantly, your initiative allows you to assess and solve complex issues while working at pace. You will be required to work with a range of teams and audiences in this role so you will need to be an excellent communicator who is able to engage with stakeholders and network across the Hospital and Specialist Services directorate and the wider organisation.
