We need a self-motivated individual to provide high-quality support services to the Deputy Secretary Corporate & Digital Services in the Office of the Deputy Secretary.

We are looking for someone who is business savvy, who can exercise good judgement and pitch in to get the job done. We are a small and busy team driven by values and outcomes, so you must be a team player. Corporate and Digital Services encompass Digital Services, People Experience, Commercial Services, Property, Resilience & Assurance Services, Health Safety & Security and the Office of the Deputy Secretary.

We are a large and complex strategic partner, enabling the Ministry to deliver justice services. The Office of the Deputy Secretary CDS provides value-add advice, maintains high level oversight of CDS functions and ensures issues are addressed and connections are made across the rp and Te Th o te Ture, in support of the Deputy Secretary and the CDS group. He pkenga tou/Skills and Experience This is a dynamic role with a variety of responsibilities and relationships.

To be successful, you will need to display proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders, who use their initiative and has a disposition for problem solving. A key part of the role is diary and email management and organisation, ensuring our Deputy Secretary can make the most efficient use of their time. You will also support the Director & Chief Advisor as required as well as the wider team with general administration, so you'll need to have no trouble switching gears with several spinning plates on the go.

To be successful you will: work with discretion and sensitivity, particularly in your regular dealings with highly confidential matters, be a confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and impeccable attention to detail, have excellent time management skills; prioritising competing demands and quickly responding when things change, and have strong knowledge of the MS office suite including outlook and SharePoint.
