We're calling for Expressions of Interest for part-time Lifeguarding opportunities. Forget your preconceptions of what a lifeguard looks like - you just need to be a confident swimmer and be great with people. This is a super supportive environment where we will ensure that you are well looked after and never thrown in the deep end (excuse the pun).
No experience is necessary as we will provide all training and support to get you up to speed AND we will pay you as you train You will gain at a minimum the following qualifications: First Aid Level 2 Certificate Pool Life Saving Practicing Certificate (PLPC) The Community Pools across Wellington provide a vital service to our city - and as a lifeguard you'll play a key role in helping people get the most out of their recreational facilities, and have a safe, enjoyable experience. We pay our part-time Lifeguards $26.00 per hour.
You'll work in a stimulating environment and have plenty of development opportunities within Wellington City Council. We have a rostered system which includes some weekends. Let us know your availability when you apply.
