What You'll Be Doing | M te Tranga We have a unique opportunity for an experienced communications manager with a strong focus on external communications to join our Auckland team. Reporting into the Head of Corporate Relations you will implement external communications strategies that enhance the understanding and reputation of the AA and its joint ventures. The AA is evolving for the future so now is an exciting time to join us in our modern new office in Wynyard Quarter. Some of your day-to-day tasks will include: Build and nurture media relationships externally, and drive effective communications plans to proactivelysecure earnedcoverage Lead the response to media enquiries and provide support and training to spokespeople. Produce key pieces of content including articles, media releases, web content, reports, video content and media releases/briefings to be published across owned and earned channels.
Work with the brand team on social media content, including working with Social Committee members to maintain a proactive calendar of Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram posts. Lead large, often complex, communications projects and provide support for cross-functional campaigns targeting Members and all Kiwis. Provide strategic communications advice to the Executive team and to Senior Leaders for managing PR riskand issues.
About You | Mu We are on the hunt for a creative and strategic individual with a can-do attitude and eye for detail You will have: At least five years' experience in communications/media relations, either agency or in-house A strong understanding of how the media works and a network of media connections Advanced writing and content creation abilities Ability to produce, consult and implement communications plans and strategies Natural curiosity around how things are done and how to make things better Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning in the field of communications.
