We are seeking a skilled Farm Assistant to join our family-based team. We are seeking a person or couple who has a passion for the industry and keen to learn. We are after someone who has excellent animal husbandry, motorbike and tractor experience along with general day to day running of the farm skills.
This person must have good communication skills and be willing to work as a team. Three Bedroom house provided Our farm is based in the King country within 10 minutes from the Kiwiana capital of New Zealand (Otorohanga). We run 800 cows in a 60-bale rotary cowshed with milking twice a day.
We have a three-herd system with one herd being on once a day. Farm is 2/3 rolling hills and 1/3 flat..
