We have two exciting opportunities for a Financial Accountant and an Accounts Assistant to join the newly established Finance and Assurance team. This team was created to bring in-house a currently outsourced set of accounting services. Te Tranga | The role's In the Financial account role, you will undertake financial planning and budgeting, and to collate all financial information required by various statutory authorities. The Accounts Assistant will perform routine parts of the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as well as other general accounting duties. Ng herenga | The role's will involve The Financial account role will involve: Being accountable for all financial budgeting and planning activities Preparing regular financial and statistical reports including monthly, quarterly and annual reporting / budgeting processes and preparing all statistical and financial returns required by the statutory authorities.
Providing an internal audit function as required and systems compliance and support for audit processes. Ensuring the correct and effective maintenance of the organisation's financial accounting and general ledger systems. The Accounts Assistant role will involve: Processing basic and routine functions related to accounts payable and/or accounts receivable and general accounting duties, including invoicing, payment advice, performing bank reconciliations, compiling debtor statements and statutory returns and preparing related documentation and correspondence.
He krero mu | About you To be considered for the Financial Accountant role you must be tertiary qualified and have CA status. You will also have experience working with accounting systems and significant business management knowledge and experience. The Accounts Assistant role requires you to have a relevant tertiary qualification/or equivalent experience and to be working towards CAANZ qualification or equivalent.
