Position:Delivery Driver Class 1-5 Region: Auckland Payrate: $28-$30 Minimum hours per week: 30 Maximum hours per week: 70 Nature of shifts: Rostered/ split shifts including weekends Deep Transport Limited, we are contractors and operates our fleet in Auckland region. We are currently seek reliable Delivery Drivers to join our Auckland team. The positions are full-time permanent positions with a minimum of 30hours per week from Monday to Sunday.

The pay rate will be $28- $30 per hour depending on experience. The successful applicants will be someone who is enthusiastic about work, who is booking for job security, and shares our passion for delivering excellent customer service. Your job duties will include: Deliver a wide variety of Goods and Cargo to different addresses and through Different routes in various regions Follow routes and time schedules Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle Maintain records of deliveries made Complete log books and reports accurately and in a timely manner Follow Health and Safety regulations and safety standards Handing Job Sheets in timely manner Manoeuvring vehicles into positions for loading and unloading Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage Reporting to Manager/Director in case of any incident Ensure road user charges (RUC), registration and COF of vehicle are up to date Must be physically fit for manual handling of deliveries Ensure the truck is loaded appropriately and the material is recorded correctly Ensure all loads comply with height, weight and specification The ideal candidate must: Must have valid New Zealand or International license equivalent Class 1-5 of New Zealand Truck Driving License Must Pass Drug Test Must not have any prior serious driving convictions Have good attention to detail Have a clear criminal record Please note, this is full time position with rostered/ split shifts, including weekends.
