We have a permanent position available for the 24/25 season onwards. Generally a 2IC/Assistant Manager style position which can be tailored to suit experience. (Would suit either a manager looking for less stress or a 2IC looking to step up) Position will cover all general aspects of day to day farming and running the farm on occasion managing 1 other staff member.
We would love someone with great communication skills and a good attitude, sense of humour optional Someone who takes pride in their work and has excellent shed hygiene (we have a great scc and would like to keep it that way) Someone who enjoys working with the girls and has great stock sense. And most of all, someone who wants to be farming Generally calve about 640 peak cows and milk 610 through an automated shed (44ASHB) with Protrack and ACR's Wearable's 300ha total 240ha platform 80ha K-line irrigation System 2-3 (Maize grown on farm, PK fed for most of the season) Do our own summer cropping and re-grassing Good Machinery 4 on 1 off - 7 on 2 off roster Calf rearing and relief milking available for a partner. 90k package 5k KPI Bonus's (Other incentives available to the right candidate) Reasonable 3 Bedroom weatherboard home, fully fenced section, wood fire 640 peak cows and milk 610 through an automated shed (44ASHB) with Protrack and ACR's Wearable's 300ha total 240ha platform 80ha K-line irrigation System 2-3 (Maize grown on farm, PK fed for most of the season) Do our own summer cropping and re-grassing.
