The opportunity / Te Whiwhinga mahi We are looking for a permanent, part time experienced Hairdressing / Beauty Technician to support the tutors on a day-to-day requirement for our salon areas in our busy Hospitality Service Sector Team. You will provide practical and technical assistance and support to students and staff ensuring materials, equipment and teaching aids meet programme requirements, enhance programme quality and student satisfaction. This position will be part time, at 22.

5 hours per week to be worked. The key responsibilities for the role include: Inventory, storage and cleanliness Keep area secure and ensure chemicals are sorted safely routine maintenance of tools and equipment induction and oversight of the safe operation of tools and equipment About you / He krero mu To be successful in this role you will need: Relevant legislative and working knowledge of the industry Extensive experience working with Hair and/or Beauty Therapies High level of computer literacy Ability to think analytically Commercial acumen Attention to detail and be highly organised Proficient in Microsoft software packages (Word, Excel and Outlook) What we offer / Ng huatanga kei a mtou Generous leave provisions Wellbeing initiatives such as EAP services free annual flu vaccinations and eye exams onsite health support.
