Ideally we would have our preferred candidates based out of one of our locations in Auckland, Taupo or New Plymouth, however the workload is nationwide and we're interested in hearing from applicants from across New Zealand who are prepared to work away. We have roles to suit tradespeople with maintenance or construction experience. Entecs instrumentation and electrical business is growing at a stellar pace.
The size of our team has doubled in the last few years, but our workload is growing even quicker. Hence, we are looking for experienced tradespeople and/or inspectors to fill both maintenance and project roles within our large I&E business. Our customer base includes a whos who of New Zealands industrial sector, including food/beverage/dairy, power generation and transmission, oil/gas/petrochemical, ports, mining, and three waters. We work mostly in the heavy industrial sector, which means we have extremely high standards for quality and safety.
The jobs we have on offer: We are looking for experienced industrial electricians, and experienced hazardous area electrical inspectors. To be considered you need: to be a NZ registered electrician (for the Industrial Electrician roles) Additionally, for the Inspector roles, you should hold a NZ registered hazardous area endorsed electrical inspector registration. to be a problem solver, to have good attention to detail, to be an effective communicator, to be able to help create and work to production schedules and, to be willing to work as part of a team flexibility to work away from home for periods at a time.
