Responsibilities include but not limited to: Organisation, planning and teaching of local and international student programmes. Identification of students requiring English Language Learning support. Identification of students eligible for English Language Learning support.
Oversight of funding applications for students eligible for English Language Learning support. Provide professional development and support for teachers in other curriculum areas. The successful candidate will show a commitment to: The special character of the college Collaborative teaching and learning within and across curriculum areas A strong connection with konga and whnau Developing an understanding of mtauranga Mori Honouring obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
All members of our teaching staff are also academic coaches who, with whnau, guide and support a group of students to set academic and personal goals, seek personal excellence, and achieve academic success. This is a full-time, permanent position, commencing term 1, 2024, or as soon as possible depending on arrangements with current place of employment.
