We have an opportunity for a Head of Technology Operations to join the Planning & Portfolio team.

M te Tranga | About the Role We sat down with our GM - Planning & Portfolio, and they let us know the following about the tranga (role). What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this tranga will complete? You'll lead technology improvement initiatives, ensuring our operations are as efficient as possible. You'll be hands-on in embedding standardised processes to manage risk, cost, and handle vendor relationships across all technology functions.

Expect a dynamic tranga where managing data hygiene and supporting budget planning are part of your daily routine. What projects / mahi will the candidate be working on now and into the next year? In the coming year, you'll tackle projects aimed at reviewing our vendor management framework, including negotiations and governance. You'll also play a key tranga in forecasting annual contract spend and maintaining data integrity across all sources.

Your contribution will be vital in managing technology-related financial planning and controls. What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this tranga? To thrive in this tranga you'll need: Strong Financial Acumen: Your experience in financial planning and operations will be invaluable. Analytical Prowess : A keen eye for detail and strong reporting skills are essential.

Risk Management Expertise : You'll be our go-to person consulting with Management Assurance to provide support for managing and reporting risks to ensure technology compliance. Change Management Skills : Your experience in managing organisational change will help us adopt consistent ways of working. Lean Six Sigma Knowledge : Your process reengineering skills will drive our efficiency.
