We are on a mission to set new standards of excellence in Health, Safety & Wellbeing, and as such we have created an exciting position to bring us closer to achieving this goal as we deliver on a significant work program. Join us in taking charge of driving and achieving strategic objectives for our kaimahi and Tmaki Makaurau. As a leader, you will not only support the HSW team in planning, monitoring, and coordinating work programs but also overseeing the delivery of tailor-made systems, frameworks, and tools.
These resources are designed to empower teams, leaders, and frontline workers, elevating the performance of health, safety, and wellbeing throughout the entire organization. You would use your HSW knowledge, alongside experience in Lean or Agile, to accelerate and streamline the delivery of our strategic objectives. This role sits within the larger Group Services division, amongst a large team of other highly skilled health, safety and wellbeing experts and reports directly to the GM Health, Safety, and Wellbeing.

He krero mu: About you With a keen strategic mindset and the expertise to create and execute initiatives, you will possess the skills essential for enhancing health and safety performance. To guide you further, an ideal candidate would have the following: A tertiary qualification in health and safety, risk management or similar professional qualification Minimum 7 years of experience in health, safety, or wellbeing within a large public sector, corporate, industrial or construction environment.
Experience in delivering strategies within large, complex and diverse organisations.
