We require a reliable person to join our team. You job will entail milking cows, setting up break fences, helping with young stock, general farm maintenance, animal health & husbandry, moving irrigators and corner sprinklers and feeding out. Preferably, we would like someone who is confident on a tractor feeding out and moving roto rainers.
Your will need to be in NZ and either be a resident or have a work visa. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. 3 bedroom villa on farm with log burner and heat pump.
We are a fully irrigated farm situated 10 minutes from Methven, 15 mins to Ashburton. We run 900 odd cows through a 54 bail rotary with cup removers, in shed feeding, and a heat detection camera. We are a predominantly Friesian herd.
