Hotel Receptionist We are looking for an experienced Hotel Receptionis who is ready to take a step up in their career. This role will see you providing exceptional customer service to guests at a busy hotel in Christchurch. The opportunity This role will see you greeting guests as they arrive at the hotel.
You will assisting with check in and check out, answering customer queries, and guests have a pleasant experience during their stay. As the face of the business, you will need to be comfortable dealing with a variety of guests as they arrive. Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to work both early and late shifts as well as weekends on a rotating roster.
Carparking is provided on site, so you'll ever have to worry about inner city parking. A laundry service will also be provided for your uniform. Key tasks include: Welcoming guests into the hotel, ensuring top level service begins the moment they walk through the door.
Providing efficient and high-quality check in and check out service Answering customer queries and providing suggestions About you Ideally you will come from a hotel background with a sound understanding of customer service. You will have strong communication skills, and a positive, helpful demeanour. The following key skills and attributes will be highly regarded: A strong reception background, with a focus on customer service.
Prior experience in a reception position is a must.
