ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting into the National Human Resources Advisor you will play a vital role in providing administrative support for our Human Resource function in New Zealand covering Auckland Wellington and Christchurch. You will be responsible for handling administration of internal appointments and terminations, onboarding, HR policy interpretation, and employee data management through our HR database (Microsoft D365).
RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure all policies and procedures have been complied with Co-ordination and facilitation of permanent and temporary employment contracts and relevant paperwork Liaising with managers and advising as required, during the recruitment process Liaising with Payroll regarding new starters, staff renumeration queries, pay cycles, staff advances and termination payments Completing new contract schedules for new starters, salary reviews and changes Issuing the applicable post-employment obligation, garden leave and intellectual property documentation to all leavers and maintaining and updating the system as required Assisting other HR staff with employee exit interviews ABOUT YOU Previous experience in an administrative role ideally in a corporate environment Ideally degree qualified and with a vested interest in Human Resources Possess highly developed oral and written communication skills, with ability to interpret relevant policies and procedures Highly developed interpersonal skills to deal in an efficient and courteous manner with staff of all levels Demonstrated ability to evaluate and analyse issues and make sound judgements Maintain confidentiality, develop systems, maintain records and meet deadlines with reliability Computer literate must be experienced and advanced in Microsoft Word for Windows, Excel, Experience of working with D365 would be an advantage but not required OUR CULTURE We put people at the heart of everything we do.
