About the role As an ICT Support Specialist, you will be solely responsible for running the New Zealand Information Technology infrastructure. Reporting to the CFO, you will work collaboratively across all areas of the business to provide Technical Support ranging from Server room, Network, Servers, PCs, Mobiles devices, Audio/Video System to onsite user support.
Your role will involve: Provide support to the team by ensuring system availability, security, critical data back-up and efficient incident/request resolution. Provide expert advice, troubleshooting and support on various IT technology, involving but not limited to Windows Server/Client, VMWare, LAN, WAN, Structured Cabling, Internet Gateway, Microsoft 365, MDM, Lotus HCL/Domino, SAP, PABX, Call Center supporting Infrastructure Deliver onsite support for Servers, Network, PCs, mobile devices, and Audio/Video system. Develop of standards, policies and applies these to track, monitor, report, resolve or escalate issues in alignment to Group IT infrastructure and Cyber Security.
Manage the IT warehouse and IT asset inventory. Manage the budget and capacity planning for IT infrastructure. Administrate computer related assets, mobile phone and network subscriptions and the company security system Provide expert advice and guidance to enable Schindler to get maximum value from its technology assets.
Provide Support to Technology projects, including structured network cabling, office move, server/client OS upgrade, server room upgrade as required (Occasional amount of travel is required part of this role). What we are looking for: Degree in computer science, electronics and/or IT experience equivalent Solid Experience in Server, VMware virtualization, Backup and Network Management.
